“All eight focus crime categories posted declines, led by a 100% drop in carnapping of motor vehicles, followed by significant reductions in theft, rape, physical injuries, homicide, robbery, carnapping of motorcycles, and murder,” saad ng NCRPO sa kanilang ulat.
Anila pa, “NCRPO also registered notable improvements in case handling, with Crime Solution Efficiency rising from 73.25% to 84.38%, while Crime Clearance Efficiency stood at 87.50%, compared with 100% during the same period in 2025.”
“Beyond crime reduction, NCRPO units arrested 277 wanted persons, including 107 Most Wanted Persons and 170 Other Wanted Persons. MPD led with 86 arrests, followed by QCPD with 67, SPD with 43, NPD with 41, and EPD with 40. The highest single‑day accomplishment was recorded on August 12, with 68 arrests,” anang ahensya.
Dagdag pa nila, “The anti‑illegal drugs campaign produced 245 operations, resulting in 305 arrests and the confiscation of ₱10,708,896.80 worth of illegal drugs. Seizures included 1,571.56 grams of shabu, 26.44 grams of dried marijuana leaves, 5.30 grams of kush, and 25 cannabis‑related vape items. SPD led in operations and arrests with 89 operations and 109 arrests, while MPD accounted for the largest volume of shabu seized at 656.86 grams.”
“Complementing the broader enforcement drive, NCRPO intensified its campaign against illegal gambling through 221 operations, resulting in 434 arrests and the seizure of gambling proceeds. Maintaining pressure against loose firearms, NCRPO mounted 35 operations, yielding 36 arrests and 36 recovered firearms. SPD posted the strongest performance with 17 operations, followed by NPD with nine, QCPD with five, and EPD with four. MPD recorded no loose‑firearm operations during the period,” anila pa.
“A 59.24% reduction in the eight focus crimes is not a reason to ease our efforts—it is a reason to press harder. We will continue taking illegal drugs and loose firearms off the streets, pursuing wanted persons, and disrupting illegal gambling so that criminals are given less space to operate anywhere in Metro Manila,” saad ni Aberin.
