"Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by Super typhoon Uwan (Fung-wong) in several regions across the Philippines," anang Embahada ng Canada.
Dagdag pa, "We continue to coordinate with partners from the Philippine government, humanitarian agencies, and the international community to determine how best to help address urgent needs and support recovery efforts."
"The Embassy of Ireland wishes to extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by Typhoon Uwan and Typhoon Tino. Ireland supports humanitarian relief programming in the Philippines through programmes such as United Nations OCHA’s CERF, which has released $5.9m in support for vulnerable communities," anang Embahada.
"Likewise, Start Ready, as part of Start Network has disbursed funds for Eastern Samar and Surigao del Norte. Ireland has given Start Ready €6.2m overall since 2022, and allocated €2.5m to Start Ready specifically in climate and humanitarian funding in 2025," dagdag pa nito.
