Nakapagtala ang Department of Health (DOH) nitong Martes, Oktubre 26, ng 4,393 na bagong kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa buong bansa.
Umabot sa 53,642 ang kasalukuyang tally ng aktibong kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas o 1.9 na porsyento ng kabuuang bilang kumpirmadong kaso na 2,765,672.
Sa naturang aktibong kaso, 74.8 na porsyento ang nakararanas ng mild symptoms, 10.37 na porsyento ang nasa moderate condition, 6.7 na porsyento ang asymptomatic, 5.8 na porsyento ang severe at 2.4 na porsyento ang nasa kritikal na kondisyon.

Nakapagtala rin ng 8,470 na bagong recoveries at 135 na namatay. Sanhi upang umabot sa 2,669,953 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga gumaling habang tumaas sa 42,077 ang death toll.
“Twenty-eight duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 22 are recoveries. Moreover, 97 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation,” anang DOH.“All labs were operational on Oct. 24, 2021 while five labs were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data in the last 14 days, the five non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 0.2 percent of samples tested and 0.3 percent of positive individuals,” dagdag pa nito.
