“In October, we were at number 18...in November, December we were able to strengthen the pandemic response with the help of the local government units, and also the discipline and compliance of citizens with our minimum public health standards,” sinabi niya kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

“In terms of active cases, we are at number 44. We only have as of today 27,992. Malaysia which is even a smaller country than us...is 51,241, Indonesia 176,291. So this means our pandemic response is improving,” ani Duque.

“It’s 4,987 per million population that’s our morbidity rate in COVID-19,” ani Duque.

“Singapore is even bigger in terms of their total cases per million population... 10,200 per million population,” ani Duque.

“It’s the same with our COVID deaths per million or mortality rate. We are at 114 at 101 deaths per million. Others like UK 1,651.It’s 15 times more than the Philippines the number of death per million population,” dagdag niya.

“The lower we are the better our ranking,” sinabi ni Duque.
