“Our partnership with PTA dates back to 1983, so we’re happy to be doing this inter-active sports progam with them again,” pahayag ni Nestle Philippines-Milo Assistant Vice President Lester P. Castillo sa Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) ‘Usapang Sports’ via Zoom at livestreaming sa YouTube at Facebook ng Sports on Air.
“We have prepared instructional sports videos developed with our partner organizations, like the PTA. Now, children can do it at the comforts of their homes,” aniya.
Pinangunahan ni PTA coach Igor Mella ang on-line program ng PTA.
“Everybody will be online, so we gave workshops and seminars to our instructors on how to better handle online classes. We have developed methods for our participants to maximize learning,” sambit ni Mella sa lingguhang forum na itinataguyod ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at PAGCOR.
“I admit na iba yun face-to-face instruction dahil you can give direct corrections sa mga participants. But due to the pandemic, we have developed a system wherein our instructors can communicate the necessary lessons directly to the participants,” pahayag ni Mella.
“The PTA found out that many of the children respond very well to our online classes. Nakatutuwa nga na pati yung participants namin na masasabing mga hyper-active or makulit sa regular na klase, they suddenly become very focused. Our instructors even confirmed this observation,” aniya.
Ang batikang taekwondo jin ba si Paula Lopez ang isa sa mukha ng PTA at MILO ‘Home Court’ program.
“We’re doing our very best to stay in shape not just with our body but also with our mind through this online program of Milo and the PTA,” pahayag ni Lopez, a gold medalist sa 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
