Pinangunhan ng 15-time Grammy winner host na si Alicia Keys ang seremonya kasama ng iba pang ‘powerful women’ kabilang sina Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Lopez, na sinamahan pa ng surpresang pagdalo sa okasyon ni dating First Lady Michelle Obama.

Biggest winner ngayong taon ang country star nasi Kacey Musgraves at ang rapper na si Childish Gambino na kapwa nakakuha ng apat na tropeo.

Michael Sager, Emilio Daez nagpaalam na sa Bahay ni Kuya

Inuwi ni Childish ang Record at Song of the Year para sa kanyang hit single na This Is America—ang unang rap song na pinarangalan sa Grammy.

Wagi naman si Kacey para sa Album of the Year at best country album para sa Golden Hour.

Tatlong Grammy awards ang iniuwi ng Pop star nasi Lady Gaga kabilang ang Best Pop Solo Performance para sa Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?) at ang Shallow kasama ng kanyang A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper para sa Best Song Written for a Visual Medium at Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Humakot  din ng tatlong award ang roots performer nasi Brandi Carlile para sa Best Americana Album para sa Way, I Forgive You at best American Roots performance at song para sa kanyang awitin na The Joke.
