Nagpaabot ng bukas na liham si Senador Robin Padilla para kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. matapos madakip ng mga awtoridad si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa isang Facebook post ni Padilla nitong Martes, Marso 11, sinabi niya na noong panahon daw na walang tumitindig para kay PBBM ay sinuportahan nila ito.
“We consider ourselves your friends and loyal supporters because we still believe that President Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Sr. was kidnapped and taken to a foreign land against his will, in defiance of our domestic laws,” saad ni Padilla.
Kaya nakiusap siya sa pangulo na gamitin nito ang executive power upang patigilin ang operasyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa pagsunod sa direktiba mula sa mga foreign entity.

Aniya, “The fate of our beloved country now rests in your hands, Mr. President. We must consider the sentiments of our people, especially in these critical times when the world is shaping its future.”
“Unity among Filipinos is crucial as we navigate this era of geopolitical conflict and trade wars,” dugtong pa ni Padilla.
Matatandaang kinumpirma na ng Malacañang nito ring Martes na natanggap na raw ng International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) ang opisyal na kopya ng warrant of arrest mula sa International Criminal Court (ICC) laban kay Duterte.
Ang nasabing arrest warrant na inihain sa dating pangulo ay para sa krimen laban sa sangkatauhan dahil sa pagpapatupad niya ng kontrobersiyal na giyera kontra droga.
