Na-deport na ang dating partner ni Pokwang na si Lee ‘O Brian, isang American citizen, ayon sa Bureau of Immigration (BI) nitong Huwebes, Abril 11.
Ayon sa BI, naghain si Marietta Subong o Pokwang ng deportation case laban kay O’ Brian dahil wala umano itong “proper working permits.”

“In her complaint, Subong claimed that O’Brian rendered work in different production companies without securing required Department of Labor and Employment and BI permits,” pahayag ng BI.
“The BI found merit in the said complaint and ordered O’Brian deported in December for violation of the conditions of his stay. O’Brian filed for a motion for reconsideration, which was eventually denied,” dagdag pa nito.
Ayon kay BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco na na-deport na si O’ Brian noong Abril 8 sakay ng Philippine Airlines flight patungo sa San Francisco matapos ding makumpirma na wala itong anumang kaso rito sa Pilipinas.
“As a consequence of his deportation, his name has been included in the BI’s blacklist, barring any future attempts to re-enter the country.”
