Sa isang mahabang Instagram post nitong Huwebes, Mayo 8, isang paalala sa pageant community ang malinaw na inihayag ni Pau.
“Being in the beauty pageant industry, my fellow queens and I understand the value of supporting other women and lifting each other up through the different challenges we face. In this industry, that support system is one of the things that actually keeps us going,” sey ng Pinay rep.
Dagdag niya, pinili nilang pasukin ang industriya dahil sa impluwensya nito, kaya nitong maabot na mga komunidad at para sa kanilang sariling growth.

“We allow ourselves to be authentic and vulnerable in the sea of noise that tries to tell us how and who we should it be. Navigating through all of that without losing our sense of self is challenging already. Which is why genuine support and kindness is so impactful as it carries us through,” pagpapatuloy ng beauty queen.
“But I will not stand for supporting a bet (kahit sino man!) if it is by bringing other queens down. It's so disappointing to see this happen online and if that’s the way you show support, I can only implore you to rethink your actions and chose kindness instead. Lifting one person up doesn’t need to be through the destruction of someone else,” pagtatapos niya.
