NUEVA ECIJA -- Nasamsam ng awtoridad ang mga umano'y pinuslit na sigarilyo sa Cabiao nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 17.
Ayon sa pulisya, nagsagawa ng buy-bust operation ang Cabiao police sa Brgy. San Vicente na nagresulta sa pagkaaresto ni alyas "Jenny," 25.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang 50 reams ng Duston cigarettes, 25 reams ng Two Moon cigarettes, na may estimated market value na P17,000.
Ang naarestong suspek na nasa kustodiya na ng Cabiao police at nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa R.A. 8293 o Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.

"We will not tolerate illegal traders of fake cigarettes to carry on with their illegal practices, these smuggled products shall be continuously prohibited from reaching the markets," saad ni Colonel Richard Caballero, provincial director Nueva Ecija police.
