Isa pang diplomatic protest ang inihain ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) laban sa China nitong Biyernes.
Ito ay dahil sa iligal na pananatili ng mga Chinese vessel sa Pag-asa Islands.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs lodged a diplomatic protest yesterday against the incessant deployment, prolonged presence, and illegal activities of Chinese maritime assets and fishing vessels in the vicinity of the Pag-asa islands, demanding that China withdraw these vessels,” ang bahagi ng pahayag ng DFA.
Ang Pag-asa Islands ay integral part o nasa hurisdiksyon ng Pilipinas.
