IPINAHAYAG ng National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) Management Committee (ManCom) na posibleng mauwi sa ‘outright termination’ ang naunang desisyon na “indefinite suspension” sa nalalabing sports event ng Season 95 sanhi ng nakakaalarmang banta ng novel coronavirus.
“Due to the declaration of the Department of Health of Red Alert Sub-Level 1 and the guidance issued by the Department of Education that concerns gatherings or out-of-school activities, all NCAA activities are hereby suspended until further notice,” nakasaad sa inilabas na ManCom statement nitong Lunes.
“The Policy Board is set to meet soon to discuss the possibility of postponing the games or canceling [altoggether] all games. The action of the NCAA is for the safety and welfare of the students, the athletes, the fans, and the officials.”
Sa kasalukuyan, may mga nalalabi pang mga juniors at seniors divisions tournaments ang nakabitin dahil sa nauna nang postponement na nagsimula noong Pebrero 14.

Kaugnay ng pinakabagong kaganapang ito, ang naunang itinakda ng pamunuan ng liga na pagpapatuloy sana ng lahat ng kanilang mga events sa darating na Lunes-Marso 16 ay posibleng hindi na isasagawa.
Samantala, napagkasundun ng Board of Managing Directors of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines na isuspinde ang mga laro hanggang Marso 17 mula sa naunang petsa na Marso 14.

Ang mga apektadong events ay Collegiate Volleyball, Collegiate Football, Collegiate Softball, Collegiate Baseball, at High School Girls’ Basketball.
