KINUMPIRMA ni Gerald Anderson na tinawagan at kinausap siya sa telepono ng tatay ni Julia Barretto na si Dennis Padilla hinggil sa kontrobersyang kinasasangkutan niya at ng aktres.

Matatandaang pumutok ang usap-usapan ng Gerald-Bea Alonzo at Julia-Joshua Garcia “cheating” at “third-party” allegations ilang araw na ang nakalilipas, at hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay hindi pa rin maawat ang publiko na pag-usapan ang isyu.

Kamakailan ay ibinahagi ng 30 taong gulang na aktor ang hiwalayan nila ni Bea nang kapanayamin ni Ganiel Krishan ng ABS-CBN News. Sa video interview na may titulong “FULL VIDEO: Gerald answers accusation of ‘ghosting’ Bea for Julia” na naka-upload sa YouTube account ng ABS-CBN News, kinumpirma ni Gerald na nakipag-usap siya kay Dennis ilang oras makaraang kumalat ang balita.

“Of course he called me, I answered the phone,” sabi ni Gerald, at nagkaroon umano sila ng “good conversation.”

“Tumawag siya kasi isa siyang concerned father, anak niya ‘yan eh and siyempre alam natin grabe din ‘yung bashing sa side nila, no one deserves that,” dagdag ng aktor.

Isiniwalat din ni Gerald na nakipagkita siya sa ina ni Julia, si Marjorie Barretto.

“Even sila Tita Marjorie, I got to meet their family before, she has a very beautiful and nice family and one thing is for sure they’re very strong and united. It’s unfortunate na nadamay (sila) and this happened,” dagdag pa niya.

Ipinaliwanag din ng Kapamilya actor kung bakit natagalan bago siya magsalita hinggil sa isyu.

“It’s my personal life. It’s not something I want to share sa buong mundo,” pagdidiin niya. “Kaya ngayon lang kasi it’s something I want to keep private, na sana maayos namin in private but obviously hindi naging ganu’n. Maraming mga opinions, maraming nakikisawsaw, hindi ko alam na kasama rin pala sila sa relationship ko.”

Later in the interview, pinaalalahanan ni Gerald ang publiko na kahit mga celebrity sila, ay tao rin sila.

“We share the same emotions as you guys have,” aniya. “It hasn’t been easy sa kahit anong party of the people involved. Just please, konting respeto lang.”

JULIA’S POV

Samantala, binasag na rin ni Julia ang kanyang pananahimik nang mag-post ng kanyang statement na buwelta kay Bea.

“Josh and I had broken up four months ago. We have publicly admitted it together and we have cleared that there was no third-party involved. From now on, anything I do in my private and love life is not considered cheating, and is none of anyone’s business.”

“Secondly, I believe Gerald has already made it clear that a third party was not the cause of their break up. I would like to disassociate myself from the breakup of Bea and Gerald. Their issues are entirely their own,”

“Your heartbreak should have been a private matter, but you have selfishly turned it into something of national concern. Bea, you wanted to keep your hands clean by not mentioning me in your controversial post, but with a click of your finger, in your sly way, you have charged everybody to destroy me for you.”

Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na dinepensahan ni Julia ang sarili dahil kamakailan ay nagkomento siya sa viral na larawan ni Joshua na mag-isang kumakain sa isang post-party.

“Wala sila lahat alam. Wait lang kayo,” tweet niya, na ‘tila ay kumpirmasyon na ipapahayag din niya ang kanyang panig.

Hunyo nang ianunsiyo nina Julia at Joshua ang kanilang paghihiwalay matapos ang dalawang taong relasyon.

Ngunit bago ang rebelasyon, iniwasan ni Julia ang isyu nang unang humarap sa publiko matapos pumutok ng kontrobersya.

GRETCHEN BARETTO BACKS BEA

Samantala, sa naturang maanghang na buwelta ni Julia laban kay Bea, ay nagkomento ang tiyahin niyang si Gretchen Barretto ng mensahe ng suporta para kay Bea.

Sinabi pa nitong nag-hire ng ghostwriter ang kampo ni Julia para sa naturang post.

“Wrong move Julia! Di (kami) bumilib jan sa official statement mo! Mas lalo kang naging guilty at nuknukan ng NEGA jan! Ewan ko sayo! Team @beaalonzo all the way!” komento ng isang netizen.

Sumingit si Gretchen sa comment section at aniya, “TEAM BEA FOR THE WIN.”

“THE FACT THAT THEY HIRED A GHOST WRITER FOR THIS POST IS HILARIOUS AND MAKES HER SOUND DESPERATE TO SALVAGE WHATEVER IS LEFT,” sabi pa ni Gretchen.

Hindi rin ito ang unang beses na nagpahayag ng suporta si Gretchen kay Bea sa gitna ng kontrobersya at pinadalhan pa ng una ang huli ng pot of orchids.

On a lighter note, ibinahagi naman ni Gretchen Fullido sa Twitter na napagkamalan siya ng isang netizen bilang ang tiyahin ni Julia.

“Wait Lang, bakit ako nasali dito… I’m the other #titaGretchen,” tweet niya kasama ang screenshot ng mensahe ng isang netizen which read: “Tama po ‘yun, hindi porke pamangkin mo si Julia dapat kampihan mo siya.”

“Teka lang, hindi ko po pamangkin si Julia… #TitaGretchen,” sabi pa niya sa larawan.
