SA grand mediacon ng pelikulang Family History ng GMA Pictures at Mic Test Entertainment, all praises kay Michael V. ang kanyang mga lead at co-stars sa nasabing pelikula, na showing na this July 24, in cinemas nationwide.

“As a writer he has a very clear vision about where the story is going to go,” sabi ng leading lady ni Bitoy sa movie na si Dawn Zulueta.

Si Bitoy lang naman ang scriptwriter-direktor-bida sa Family History. Co-producer din siya dahil sa kanya ang Mic Test Entertainment.

“Pero ang gusto ko sa kanya, even if siya ‘yung writer, siya rin ‘yung director, open pa rin siya sa suggestions.

“He is open that he’ll say, ‘I didn’t see it that way, I’m glad you point that out’. I think it’s very refreshing to see in a director.

“Just to add in life, you know there’s so much tragedy, there is also a lot of seriousness and just everyday things, but I think Bitoy is the one that really sees that. He is able to capture it also as a director, no one else but him can do that,” papuri pa ni Dawn kay Bitoy.

“He is such a creative force in this movie. Sobrang unique niyang magtrabaho, kaya why not na magka-award,” sabi naman ng gumaganap na anak ni Bitoy as movie na si Miguel Tanfelix.

Binanggit din ng comedienne-singer na si Kakai Bautista, who is playing the BFF of Dawn in the film, na hindi raw imposibleng humakot ng awards si Michael V. para sa nasabing proyekto.

“I think ang laki ng potensyal niya na he will win, the story will win and his directing. Kasi ang steady ni Kuya Bitoy na magdirek. Sobrang steady lang kaming lahat at hindi kami nape-pressure.

“Binigyan niya kami ng freedom to do whatever na kaya namin gawin o mag-add na color sa character, pero at the same time he also guided us on how he wants it to be portrayed. So collaborative si Kuya Bitoy,” seryosong sabi ni Kakai, na kikay na kikay ang drama habang rumarampa sa red carpet patungo sa stage ng mediacon for the Q&A portion.

All praises din kay Bitoy sina Bianca Umali, Ina Feleo, Paolo Contis, at iba pa, lalo na ang asawa in real life ni Michael V na si Carol Bunagan. Si Ms Carol ang tumatayong executive producer ng Mic Test Entertainment nila ng asawa, na kasosyo nga ang GMA Pictures.

Ayon mismo kay Ms Carol, ibang-ibang Michael V ang mapapanood sa Family History bilang si Alex dela Cruz.

“Yung work attitude wise it’s pretty much the same person I knew all my life, pero ‘yung lalim niya as an actor, medyo nag-shine nang husto dito sa pelikula, na parang ang lalim. Grabe ang hugot!” pagmamalaki pa ng esmi ni Bitoy.
