Kapwa rin nakuha nina WBC No. 6 super bantamweight Azat Hovhannisyan ng Armenia at dating world ranked Glenn Porras ng Pilipinas ang timbang kaya walang makapipigil sa kanilang super bantamweight na sagupaan.
Tumimbang si Hovhannisyan na 121.6 pounds samantalang mas magaang si Porras sa 121.2 pounds kaya tuloy ang pagtaya ng Armenian sa kanyang WBC rankings sa Pinoy boxer.
“Gretchen Abaniel has lots of experience and has fought former and current world champions,” sabi ni Estrada sa BoxingScene.com. “I know she will be coming to win and will put up a fight, but I’m prepared to stop the things that she does effectively. I’ve been studying her, and I’m prepared mentally and physically to go out there and get the win in front of my hometown crowd. I’m happy to be fighting at home and can’t wait to put on a great show for everyone who will be in attendance and watching from home.”

Para kay Abaniel na naging Global Boxing Union at Women’s International Boxing Federation minimumweight champion, magandang pagkakataon na mapasabak sa promosyon ng Golden Boy.

Mas maganda ang record ni Hovhannisyan kay Porras ngunit hindi matatawaran ang kakayahan ng Pinoy boxer na lumaban bagamat natalo kina one-time world title challenger Jose Nieves ng Puerto Rico at kasalukuyang WBO super bantamweight titlist Emanuel Navarrete ng Mexico.
May 16 panalo, 3 talo si Hovhanissyan, 13 sa pamamagitan ng knockouts kumpara sa mas beteranong si Porras na may 32 panalo, 8 talo na may 20 pagwawagi sa knockouts.
