MAY update si Kris Aquino sa board meeting niya sa tinawag niyang “partners” niya sa isa sa kanyang mga negosyo, last Friday.

“An update: the board meeting yesterday was about Nacho Bimby. The corporate secretary who sent me the letter w/ date, time, and venue chose not to be there. His reason— akala raw nya proxy lang ang padadala.

“Let’s cut the crap, ayaw lang akong harapin kasi isa siya sa investors nung resto bar in Taguig, kung saan may kasong hinaharap si Nicko (Falcis), dahil nga sa daming beses ginamit ang KCAP credit card for personal enjoyment in the said resto bar, na actually breach of business ethics dahil financial consultant din siya dun.

“The person who prepared the financial reports and should have done the presentation also wasn’t present. Nagkita na kami by accident many weeks back in Dean & Deluca Rockwell and even if she is Nicko’s BFF, nilapitan ko siya and I said ‘we don’t have to be enemies so there’s no need to hide behind your cell phone’. I said all that in a friendly tone with a big smile.

“JoMag said he was unaware that Nicko owned a 40 % stake of the Thailand Potato Corners which I had invested in. That’s where the unaccounted for P45M from my sons’ trust account was supposedly invested in.

“Siguro kung perang pinaghirapan, pinagpuyatan, at inipon n’yo para sa mga anak n’yo ang hindi masagot kung nasaan na, mararamdaman n’yo rin ang pagsisisi ko sa maling desisyon sa taong binigyan ko ng tiwala.

“All I’ve asked for was for the Thailand Potato Corner accounting books to be opened up for me. Just an assurance regarding where my sons’ money went. Maybe my biggest mistake was that I trusted completely because 1 of the 2 major owners of this Potato Corner Thailand master franchise was a Chirathivat. In the Philippines equivalent sila ng mga SY of SM Supermalls but without BDO. Sana matapos na ‘to.” Ngayon lang nabanggit ni Kris ang P45M investment niya sa Thailand Potato Corners. Nakakagulat, kaya naman nagbago na ng opinyon ang mga dating nagsabi sa kanya na hayaan na niya ang P1.2M na hinahabol niya kay Nicko. Hindi raw pala one million lang ang hinahabol ni Kris, kundi P45M.

Suportado n i l a ang paghahabol ni Kris, pero ipaubaya na lang daw niya ito sa mga lawyers niya para hindi na siya ma-stress.

Sana nga, mangyari ang kagustuhan ni Kris na matapos na ang kaso para makapahinga na ang isip at puso niya.
