NAG-REACT si Kris Aquino via Instagram (IG) sa kumalat na fake news na pinalalabas na in-interview siya ni Boy Abunda at sinabi raw niyang tatakbo siya for senator sa susunod na election.

Naririto ang naturang fake news:

“In an interview with Boy Abunda kay Kris Aquino, ito ang kanyang pahayag: ‘Siguro masyado lang akong nacha-challenge, I’m not sure yet but just in case she pursue her candidacy, if Mocha can do it, why can’t I, di ba? I will do my best to beat her, at least in the Senate race’ Aquino told Abunda.”

Heto ang sagot ni Kris: “These will be 2 posts, so let’s get the bad or in this case #fakenews over with... I have NEVER been interviewed by Boy Abunda in recent memory, at least not in the past quarter, not in his show & not for print or any other medium. Our last communication was 2 months ago when he was turning over a few more endorsement details to my current management team. Kung sino man po ang nagsulat nito -- if you will choose to invent quotes from me -- GALINGAN N’YO NAMAN. I am a stickler for correct grammar and subject-verb agreement: it isn’t IN CASE SHE PURSUE HER CANDIDACY, I need to correct you: it is IN CASE SHE PURSUES HER CANDIDACY. Dahil din sa isyung fake news at sa comment na hindi na siya relevant, nabanggit ni Kris ang kinita niya last October at kung magkano ang binayaran niya sa BIR.

“My October 2017 take home pay was in the vicinity of P18M, so really I’m supposed to validate your opinion that my time is up? Even the BIR will disagree with you because an irrelevant person doesn’t bring home that paycheck.
