Pinuri ng business community ang unang kautusan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na alisin ang bureaucratic red tape at igalang ang mga kontrata at pandaigdigang kasunduan.
Sinabi ni George Barcelon, presidente ng Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, na ang inaugural speech ni Duterte ay nagpapaabot ng napakapositibong imahe sa business community. “His first order to remove bureaucratic red tape and to hasten business permitting are very good for business. It was very positive,” aniya.
Nagpahayag din ng parehong sentimiyento si Peter Angelo V. Perfecto, executive director ng Makati Business Club, kaugnay ng maikli ngunit direkta sa puntong inaugural speech ng Pangulo.
“We laud PRRD’s (President Rodrigo R. Duterte) first order to all Cabinet secretaries to reduce requirements and processing time of all applications across agencies and remove redundancies in these requirements and to respect the sanctity of contracts. We further laud his statement that the country will honor all existing treaties and international obligations,” aniya.

Sinabi ni Francis Chua, founder ng International Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, na ipinakita ng bagong Pangulo na siya ang tunay na kampeon ng masa na pursigidong iangat ang mahihirap. “Our President has to be praised that he serves every citizen, not one particular person or one interest group,” aniya.
