Pinagtibay ng House committee on agriculture and food ang HB 6162, na naglalayong palawigin pa ang Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF) hanggang sa 2022.
Ang panukala ay may titulong “An Act further extending the period of implementation of the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (ACEF), amending for the purpose Republic Act No. 8178, as amended by Republic Act No. 9496, entitled ‘An Act replacing quantitative import restrictions on Agricultural products, except rice, with tariffs, creating the Agricultural Competitiveness enhancement Fund, and for other purposes.’”
Sa pagpaso ng programa nitong 2015, may P2 bilyon pondo pang natitira ang ACEF, ayon sa mga mambabatas. - Bert de Guzman
