“It was Diale’s seventh win in a row after he lost his first crack at the vacant OPBF title by an 8th round knockout to Japan’s Koki Eto at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo last June 17, 2014,” ayon sa ulat ng Philboxing.com.

“Veteran referee/judge Silvester Abainza had Diale the winner 117-110, Nowel Haduca also scored the fight for Diale 115-112 but Engineer Greg Ortega had it much closer at 114-113 for Diale.”

Sa main event ng laban, tinalo naman ni one-time world title challenger Richard Claveras ang bakanteng WBC International light flyweight title sa 12-round unanimous decision laban sa mas beteranong si Jerry Tomogdan.

“The 26 year old Claveras dropped Tomogdan in round one with a well-timed counter left hook that sent Tomogdan through the ropes and then dropped him again in the second round this time with a counter right hook but failed to finish off the game Tomogdan who was also sent to the canvas one more time in round seven with a right straight,” dagdag sa ulat. “With the win Claveras who was comfortably ahead after the first four rounds and then again after eight rounds in the open scoring system of the WBC eventually won handily with all three judges scoring the fight for him.”
