Nagpaabot si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. ng isang mensahe bilang pakikiisa nito sa paggunita ng Semana Santa.
Sa ibinahaging pahayag ni PBBM nitong Linggo, Marso 29, inalala rin niya ang hindi masusukat na pagmamahal ni Hesus para sa sangkatauhan.
“I am one with the entire Filipino people as we take a moment for a brief pause, rest, and reflection during this Holy Week,” saad ni PBBM sa kaniyang pahayag.
Aniya, “In this solemn season, we remember the immeasurable love of Jesus Christ who offered His life in perfect obedience to the will of the Father. From his triumphant entry to Jerusalem, to the suffering of the Cross at Calvary, and finally to the glory of His resurrection, we witness a love so powerful that it embraces human suffering and conquers even death.”
“The Passion of Christ reminds us that true greatness is not found in power, but in sacrifice; not in privilege, but in service; and not in comfort, but in the courage to carry the burdens of others,” dagdag pa niya.
Ayon pa sa Pangulo, magsilbi raw sanang inspirasyon si Hesus upang malampasan ng bawat isa ang mga kinahaharap nitong pagsubok, nang may pagpapakumbaba at pag-asa.
“As we reflect on His sacrifice, may we renew our commitment to love one another more deeply, serve one another more faithfully, and stand firm in faith even in the face of trials. May Jesus Christ’s example inspire us to face our own challenges with humility, perseverance, and hope. For in every act of compassion, every hand extended to those in need, and every sacrifice made for the good of others, we keep alive the spirit of His message,” anang Pangulo.
Giit niya, “May this Holy Week strengthen our resolve to become a nation guided with faith, united in purpose, and inspired by selfless service. With Jesus Christ as our light, let us continue working together for the welfare of our families, the strength of our communities, and the realization of a more compassionate and prosperous Bagong Pilipinas.”

Ngayong Linggo, Marso 29, ginugunita ang “Palm Sunday” o Linggo ng Palaspas, bilang pagkilala sa matagumpay na pagpasok ni Hesus sa Herusalem, at ang tanda ng pagsisimula ng Mahal na Araw.
