"I am NOT Michelle Dee from the Philippines!"
Naglabas ng paglilinaw na pahayag sa social media ang isang babae na nagngangalang "Michelle Dee" upang linawin na hindi siya ang "Michelle Dee" mula sa Pilipinas na kasalukuyang pinauulanan ng batikos online kaugnay ng umano’y paratang na torture at illegal detention sa driver ng kaibigang si Rhian Ramos, na sinasabing may kinalaman sa pagkuha ng mga sensitibong larawan nila, mula sa kuwarto ng condominium unit.
Sa kaniyang post, mariing itinanggi ng naturang Michelle Dee ang anumang kaugnayan sa nasabing kontrobersiya, matapos na komentuhan ng hateful comments ng mga Pilipinong netizen.
Ayon sa kaniya, isa siyang Vietnamese, nasa edad bente, may mga tattoo at kulay na buhok, at naninirahan sa Amerika; mga detalyeng aniya’y malinaw na makikita sa kaniyang social media profile at sapat na patunay na siya ay ibang tao.

Bukod kasi sa masasakit na salita, nakatatanggap umano ng pagbabanta sa kaniyang buhay ang nabanggit na Vietnamese.
"I am NOT Michelle Dee from the Philippines," aniya.
"I am Vietnamese (DIFFERENT COUNTRY), in my 20s, with tattoos and colored hair. A quick look at my profile will easily prove that. Im In the US."
"I have NO affiliation with whoever people are claiming me to be. Leaving hateful comments to a complete stranger makes you look really dumb! And leaving death threats isn’t a joking manner either!"
Dagdag pa niya, "It might come as a shocker to people but yes, there are people with the same names! Cognitive awareness is SO important."

Sa comment section, mababasa naman ang paghingi sa kaniya ng paumanhin ng ilang Pinoy netizens.
Sabi ng isa, "hello! i am very sorry for my fellow filipino who attacked you just because they lacks the etiquette of doing research on someone. they only love to ruin someone else's life."
Sagot naman ng Vietnamese, "Don’t apologize for someone else’s actions, you’re totally okay, Rae. All love here."
"Sorry about that! Some filipinos lack class or basic social media etiquette! You seemed cooler than the other michelle dee because I've read rumors about her on reddit. Quite a turn off," dispensa naman ng isa.
Tugon naman niya, "You're so sweet, but please don't apologize on behalf of other people's actions. You didn't do anything wrong, all love here."
May nagpaliwanag naman sa Vietnamese na ito raw ay hindi intentional at isang paraan ng biro lamang.
"It is not all about comprehension, it's all about sarcasm. We all know that you are not Michelle Dee from Philippines," anang isa.
Pero hindi naman ito pinalagpas ni Michelle ng Vietnam/US, "Sarcasm only goes so far when someone in the Philippines committed a crime. That’s not a joking manner. Use your head."
"Girl! It's just a joke. We all know that you're not the Michelle Dee we're talking about. You should be thankful for at least you're getting attention lol" saad naman ng isa.
Basag naman ni Michelle, "A joke when there’s an actual woman who beat and tortured a man? Are you slow?"
Sey naman ng isa, "Lol, they’re not doing it intentionally. When I try to mention the name Michelle Dee, your name pops up first sometimes. And in the Philippines, nobody knows you, so they don’t check whether it’s the right Michelle or not. Don’t act like you’re relevant."
Tirada naman ng Vietnamese, "Don’t be stupid and avoid clicking the profile, it’s not my responsibility for people’s stupidity and for simply existing, it’s not about relevance, it’s basic comprehension that I guess some of you people really lack."
