Naglatag ng paliwanag si Davao City First District Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte matapos niyang bumoto ng “no” para sa 2026 General Appropriations Bill (GAB).
Sa latest Facebook post ni Pulong nitong Lunes, Disyembre 29, sinabi niyang hindi umano maaatim ng konsensya niya na bumoto sa budget na kuwestiyonable ang maraming aspekto.
“I voted NO on the FY 2026 General Appropriations Bill because I cannot, in good conscience, support a budget riddled with unanswered questions, uneven allocations, and questionable insertions,” saad ni Pulong.
Dagdag pa niya, “The mastermind behind the corruption of the 2025 budget has not even been jailed yet—yet here we are again, with a new budget in 2026 ready to be plundered.”

Gayunman, nilinaw ng kongresista na ang pagboto niya ng “no” ay hindi laban sa pag-unlad.
“[I]t is for transparency, fairness, and responsibility,” ani Pulong.
Matatandaang niratipikahan na ng Senado nito ring Lunes, Disyembre 29, ang inihaing ₱6.793-T 2026 national budget para sa 2026.
