Pormal nang inanunsyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang simula ng Christmas break ng mga mag-aaral para sa taong pampaaralan 2025-2026.
Sa ibinahaging ulat ng DepEd nitong Lunes, Disyembre 15, magsisimula ang naturang break mula Disyembre 20, 2025 at magtatapos sa Enero 4, 2026.

Nakaayon ito sa DepEd Order No. 12 na inisyu ni DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara noong Abril 15, sa ilalim ng “Multi-Year Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and Activities” na inaasahang susundin ng mga public elementary, secondary, at community learning centers (CLCs) sa bansa.
“The holiday break occurs during the last two weeks of December, with classes resuming within the first week of January of the following year,” mababasa sa naturang order.
