Nagpaabot ng pasasalamat ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) hinggil sa pagpapataas ng suweldo para sa mga Military and Uniformed Personnel (MUP) ng bansa.
Kaugnay ito sa pahayag na ibinahagi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. kung saan binigyang-diin niya ang umento sa sahod para sa mga MUP, bilang pagkilala sa kanilang walang sawang paglilingkod, dedikasyon, at husay.
“Bilang pagkilala sa inyong walang sawang paglilingkod, dedikasyon, at husay ating itataas ang base pay ng MUP,” saad ni PBBM sa isang video statement.

“The Armed Forces of the Philippines extends its utmost appreciation to our Commander-in-Chief, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., for prioritizing the welfare of our troops through the forthcoming increase in the base pay of military and uniformed personnel under Executive Order No. 107,” saad ng AFP noong Miyerkules, Disyembre 3.

His message gives renewed motivation to our personnel who carry out their duties each day to help keep our communities secure. Matatandaang sakop ng naturang pagtaas-sahod ang lahat ng military at uniformed personnel mula sa Department of National Defense, Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Corrections, National Mapping at Resource Information Authority—na siyang ipatutupad sa unang araw ng 2026, 2027, at 2028.
