Ibinahagi ng Filipino-Australian content creator na si Jeraldine Blackman ang posibleng pagpapalit niya sa pangalan ng social media pages kung saan sila nakilala ng mister na si Joshua Blackman, gayundin ng mga anak nilang sina Jette at Nimo.
Ayon sa Instagram post ni Jeraldine noong Oktubre 22, sinabi niyang mahirap para sa kaniya ang desisyon lalo't siya mismo ang nakaisip sa trademark na ito, apat na taon na ang nakalilipas.
"I’m crying this morning AGAIN… it’s very emotional and such a hard decision to make. I’ve given this so much thought already. Last night, I couldn’t sleep until 2 a.m. because I was having a hard time letting go of the trademark I built 'The Blackman Family,'" aniya.
Ibinahagi rin ni Jeraldine kung paano nabuo ang pangalan ng social media pages, na sinundan at sinubaybayan ng milyong followers nila. Hindi rin daw biro ang mga pinagdaanan niya para lamang mag-isip, gumawa, at mag-edit ng original content. Pero sa isang iglap lang, hindi raw akalain ni Jeraldine na mangyayari ang hiwalayan nila ni Josh, at mabubuwag na rin ang pangalan ng kanilang social media pages.

"I created this page back in August 2021. I named it after our last name. It started as Hello Friends with Nimo, but later on, I changed to The Blackman Family. I made every video from scratch, never copied anyone’s work, never took someone else’s video and claimed it as mine. Every video was filmed and created on our own. I spent days and nights thinking of ideas, creating content, and figuring out how to execute them. I went through sleepless nights editing videos!"
"4 years later… all of this happened, and it honestly breaks my heart to let go of The Blackman Family page. All the hard work I poured into it feels like it’s being thrown away, but I know that if I change the name, it will give us a fresh start."

No one else created this name on the internet four years ago, it was me. Every bit of effort, love, and dedication came from my heart. So maybe they should think twice before saying things they don’t know. I treated our page with respect! I only use it to post my daily videos/photos and I use it for fun!"

Ibinahagi rin ni Jeraldine ang natanggap na email mula sa isang indibidwal na nagsasabing huwag niyang palitan ang pangalan ng social media pages.
"P.S. I received an email this morning that made me cry. It was so beautiful and made me realize so many things about our name. Thank you so much to the person who sent it," aniya.
