Inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang kanyang pasasalamat sa gobyerno ng UAE dahil sa ibinibigay nitong suporta sa mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) sa kanilang bansa.

Ibinahagi ni PBBM sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 18, ang kaniyang pasasalamat sa UAE sa mga suportang inaabot nito sa mga OFWs sa naturang bansa.

“We are grateful to the UAE for its continued support to our Filipino workers and for being a true partner in building smarter, future-ready governments. Through shared knowledge and collaboration, we are creating meaningful change for our people,” ani PBBM.

Ayon sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO), ang pasasalamat na ito ay ipinahayag ng Pangulo matapos ang isinagawang courtesy call ng delegasyon ng United Arab Emirates (UAE) sa Palasyo, na pinangunahan ni Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Experience Exchange Adbulla Nasser Lootah.

Nagsama-sama rin ang ilang opisyal mula sa UAE at ilang sektor mula sa Pilipinas noong Setyembre 16 hanggang 18, upang daluhan ang “Philippines and UAE Government Experience Exchange Forum,” na pinangunahan ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM), katuwang ang UAE Ministry of Cabinet Affairs.

“It was a pleasure to welcome Deputy Minister Abdulla Nasser Lootah and the UAE delegation as they conclude the Philippines–UAE Government Experience Exchange Forum,” anang Pangulo.

Inilahad naman ng PCO na ipinakita ng UAE ang interes nitong palakasin ang “bilateral relationship” ng kanilang bansa sa Pilipinas.

“During the courtesy call, Lootah expressed the UAE government’s interest to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the Philippines and the UAE, underscoring its extreme importance,” ani PCO.

“The Philippines and UAE Government Experience Exchange Forum seeks to capacitate government personnel from both countries through sharing of government experiences and best practices, in jointly pursuing the shared vision of innovative and future-ready governments,” dagdag pa nito.

Matatandaang nag-state visit si PBBM sa ilang mga bansa tulad ng Germany, Czech Republic, India, at Cambodia, upang pagtibayin din ang relasyon ng mga ito sa Pilipinas.
