Pinagtibay ang nasa 18 business agreements sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Indian investors nitong Huwebes, Agosto 7, sa 5-day state visit ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, Jr sa Bengaluru, India.
Kabilang sa mga agreements na ito ay may kinalaman sa manufacturing, renewable energy, pati na sa digital services. May mga nabuksan ding oportunidad sa sektor ng edukasyon, kalusugan, at information technology, na mula sa mga investors ng Tata Group, iSON Group, NephroPlus, at Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS).
Kasama ni Pangulong Marcos ang ilan sa kaniyang mga gabinete tulad nina Special Assistant on Investment in Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go, kalihim ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na si Maria Cristina Roque, at Secretary of Finance na si Ralph Recto.
“I think the… of all the trips that I have taken abroad, this is the trip where we have the largest number of cabinet members that have accompanied me,” anang Marcos Jr.
“…and this is a very clear manifestation of how seriously we are committed to developing the ties between India and the Philippines on every single level,” dagdag pa niya.

Sinigurado rin ng Pangulo sa mga investors at sa pamahalaan ng India na handa ang Pilipinas na mas paigtingin pa at suportahan ang mas tumitibay na relasyon ng dalawang bansa sa larangan ng investments.
“To our esteemed Indian partners, I want to assure you that the Philippine government stands ready to embrace your investments with open arms, and with continuing and unwavering support,” aniya.
Inaasahan ang pagbabalik ng Pangulo sa bansa ngayong araw, Agosto 8, ang pang-lima at huling araw ng state visit niya sa bansang India.
