Nagkomento si 1-Rider Party-list Rep. Rodge Gutierrez sa bagong timeline ng impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Bilang miyembro ng House prosecution, iginiit ni Gutierrez na hindi raw sapat halos 19 na raw lamang ng paglilitis para sa pitong articles of impeachment laban kay VP Sara.

"Personally, I don't think it would be possible on our part to just consolidate it with two articles, the trail of full articles of impeachment that we have lined up," aniya.

Pinuna niya rin ang tila dalawang araw lamang na mailalaan para sa presentasyon ng mga ebidensyang kanilang ilalatag.

"I think hindi po siya sapat. If we took a look, kung tama po yung nakikitang timeline, parang dalawang araw lang yung nabibigay for presentation of evidence, saad ni Gutierrez.

Dagdag pa niya, "And if you will divide it into seven articles, that will really not be enough time."

Kaugnay naman sa kasalukuyang diskusyon kung maaari pa ring tumawid sa 20th Congress ang impeachment ni VP Sara, saad niya: "The presentation still stands by that position that the impeachment can cross over to the 20th Congress as per jurisprudence of the US National Congress."
