Nasa kritikal na kalagayan daw ang kalusugan ngayon ni Pope Francis, ayon mismo sa Vatican kahapon ng Sabado, Pebrero 22.
Ayon sa ulat, sinabi ng Vatican na nakaranas daw ng respiratory attack ang Santo Papa dahil sa dami ng oxygen at blood transfusions, kaugnay pa rin sa kaniyang pneumonia.
Gayunman, nananatili pa rin daw alerto ang Santo Papa.
"The Holy Father's condition continues to be critical, therefore, as explained yesterday, the pope is not out of danger."

"This morning Pope Francis presented a prolonged asthmatic respiratory crisis, which also required the application of high-flow oxygen," dagdag pa.
“The Holy Father remains alert and has spent the day in a chair, though he is more unwell than yesterday. At the moment, the prognosis remains guarded,” bahagi pa ng pahayag.
Matatandaang kamakailan ay hinimok ni Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president at Kalookan Bishop Pablo Virgilio Cardinal David ang publiko na ipagdasal si Pope Francis kaugnay ng pagkakaospital niya dulot ng pneumonia.
“May I ask for your prayers for his healing and recovery during this challenging time,” ani David.
Dagdag pa niya, “Pope Francis is currently hospitalized and is undergoing treatment for pneumonia. Despite his condition, doctors say he remains in good spirits and has expressed gratitude for the prayers he has received.”
Matatandaang noong Pebrero 14, 2025 pa nang ma-confine sa Rome Gemelli Hospital ang 88-anyos na Santo Papa.
