“The downtrend in the overall inflation in August 2024 was primarily brought about by the lower year-on-year growth rate in the heavily-weighted food and non-alcoholic beverages index at 5.8 percent in August 2024 from 8.3 percent in the previous month,” anang PSA.
“The transport index recorded an annual decline of 0.1 percent during the month from a 3.6 percent year-on-year increase in July 2024,” dagdag nito.
a. Alcoholic beverages at tobacco, 3.7% mula 3.9%;
b. Clothing at footwear, 2.7% mula 3.0%;
c. Health, 2.2% mula 2.4%;
d. Education services, 5.6% mula 6.2%
