Dalawa pang lugar sa Mindanao ang nagpositibo sa red tide, ayon sa pahayag ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
Sa shellfish bulletin ng BFAR, binanggit na kabilang sa dalawang lugar ang Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur at coastal waters ng San Benito in Surigao del Norte.
Kinumpirma ng BFAR na nagtataglay ng Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) ang mga shellfish sa mga nasabing lugar.

Bukod dito, positibo pa rin sa red tide ang mga lugar ng Sapian Bay (Ivisan and Sapian sa Capiz; Mambuquiao at Camanci, Batan sa Aklan); coastal waters ng Pilar; President Roxas; Roxas City sa Capiz; coastal waters ng Gigantes Islands, Carles sa Iloilo; coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; at Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur.
“All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the areas shown above are not safe for human consumption,” anang ahensya.
"Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs" are safe for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking," pahayag pa ng BFAR.
