Kinabiliban ng mga netizen ang mag-partner na sina Clint Brian Peck at Kim Arevalo matapos nilang i-flex ang kanilang dambuhalang alagang pusang "Maine Coon," hindi lang isa, hindi lang dalawa, kundi tatlumpu't dalawa... and counting!
Makikita sa Facebook page para sa community ng cat lovers ang mga litrato ng 32 alagang Maine Coons nina Clint at Kim.
Mapalad na nagpaunlak ng panayam si Clint sa Balita upang mapabatid sa publiko, lalo na sa cat lovers community, kung paano ang pag-aalaga ng isang Maine Coon, na talaga namang malalaki at maihahalintulad sa isang alagang aso, o kaya naman, sa isang mas maliit na tigre.
Dahil sa 32 alagang pusa, ang unang iisipin ay kung paano sila nagkasyang lahat sa loob ng kanilang bahay.

"We converted part of our house into a catio," ani Clint.
"All females are together. All kittens are also in one room we call it nursery room from day 0- 4.5 mos old they will stay in the nursery. For male we have 2 groups. Group A and B. Cause we cannot place all male in one room otherwise they will fight. We trained and identified which of our male cats can be grouped together."
Gaano na katagal silang nag-aalaga ng Maine Coons?
"I started breeding Maine Coon in 2019. I am a licensed and one of the pioneer breeders of Maine Coon in the country, registered under World Cat Federation Sfepi PH."
Magkano naman ang nagagastos nila tuwing buwan para sa mga pangangailangan ng kanilang Maine Coon Cats, tulad ng pagkain, bitamina, at check-up sa veterinary clinic?
"The cost is quite high because of the numbers of my Maine Coons. But I do not look at the cost anymore, otherwise, if I compute it, it's really high. Also because I have 32 coons and a few rescued cats, but whatever the maintenance and food of my coons are also the food and maintenance of my rescued cats. And the well-being of them is one of my priorities. Maine Coons are impressive in size, but not necessarily more demanding in maintenance needs."
Ang kanilang mga pagkain daw (dry, wet, at raw) ay papalo sa ₱20k hanggang ₱25k kada buwan. Sa litter sand naman, naglalaan sila ng ₱3k hanggang ₱5k, gayundin sa vitamins at emergency medicines. Para sa deworming treatment, internal and external monthly flea, tick and worm treatments, may tig-₱500 bawat pusa, kada 45 araw.
Idagdag pa rito ang shampoo, coat maintenance and grooming equipment na aabot sa ₱3k hanggang ₱5k. May laan din silang budget just in case na kailangan silang itakbo sa vet clinic (₱10k hanggang ₱20k).
At siyempre, para iwas sa rabies at iba pang sakit na puwedeng makuha ng mga pusa, kailangan din nila ng core vaccine na ₱1200 per shot at rabies vaccine na may ₱350 per shot.
"Toys are tipid because they like to play inside carton boxes, crumbled papers, tissues, shoe laces and water... They love to play with water and even if it's raining they will run outside and play in the rain. They are fascinated by water."
Nagtayo rin si Clint ng isang cattery na tinawag niyang "Mrs. Norris Cattery, hango mula sa isang pusang karakter sa libro/pelikulang "Harry Potter."
