CEBU CITY -- Hindi bababa sa 113 na pulis mula sa apat na police station sa Southern Cebu ang sumailalim sa surprise drug test noong Lunes, Mayo 8.

Ayon kay Police Col. Rommel Ochave, hepe ng Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO), na ang drug test ay bahagi ng internal cleansing program ng Philippine National Police.

Ang resulta ng drug test ay hindi pa inilalabas ng Cebu Provincial Forensic Unit. 

Ang mga sumailalim sa drug test ay mula sa Barili, Dumanjug, Ronda, at Alcantara police station, ayon kay Ochave.

“We want all police personnel in the entire province of Cebu to be subjected to a drug test. This is in line with the ongoing program of the chief PNP which is to discipline all police,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang mga magpopositibo aniya sa iligal na droga ay maaaring mapatalsik sa serbisyo. Hindi rin daw magdadalawang-isip ang CPPO na parusahan ang mga maling pulis.
