Labis ang pasasalamat at pagkatuwa ni 'My Father, Myself' star Dimples Romana nang manalo siya bilang 'Best Supporting Actress' sa naganap na 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal nitong Martes, Disyembre 27.
Saad niya sa kaniyang Instagram post nitong Miyerkules, Disyembre 28, ito raw ang biggest pahabol blessing ng Diyos sa kaniya.
"Biggest pahabol blessing. Father God, I feel unworthy and yet you bless me still with so much more than what I feel I deserve," sey ni Dimples.
Hindi man nakadalo sa mismong awards night, tinanggap naman ito ng iba pang cast ng 'My Father, Myself' na sina Jake Cuenca, Sean de Guzman, at Tiffany Grey at screenwriter na si Quinn Carillo.

"So fitting that Jake, Quinn, Sean and Tiff accepted the award on my behalf because my work as Amanda would not have been as stellar if not for the strong commitment to excellence everyone on set have put out for our film.
"Silang apat kasama pa sina Direk Joel, Nay Len, Mother Dennis and the whole team inspired me to give it my very best to make sure my work is at par with theirs. What a joy to work with people who empower you to do be better always.
"I remember the phone call I received for this project from Mother Dennis and Nay Len, and it may not be the usual film that would be offered to me but I understood my place as an actress to play the role of Amanda, the wife of Robert who loves him unconditionally with every facet and complexity of his character," paglalahad pa ni Dimples.
Samantala, may mensahe rin si Dimple sa mga "Amanda" sa totoong buhay.
"Amanda was suffering, she was pained and yet she chooses to forgive, to understand BECAUSE SHE LOVES. Love is such a powerful tool to push us all beyond our comfort zones and propel us to heights with which we think we’d never reach," aniya.
"Sa lahat ng mga Amanda, na patuloy na nagmamahal at umuunawa, yumayakap sa mga taong mahal natin ng Walang pagtatanong, pagaaalinlangan at panunumbat, anuman ang kasarian natin, ang pagmamahal ay pagmamahal. Padayon," dagdag pa niya.
