BAGUIO CITY - Matatag pa rin ang suplay at presyo ng gulay mula sa Cordillera kahit nagkaroon ng kalamidad, ayon sa pahayag ng Depaartment of Agriculture (DA) nitong Huwebes.
"We continue to have the two million kilos average daily supply of assorted highland vegetables even after the calamities. This will assure that families who will gather for events during the long weekend and Undas vacation will enjoy our vegetables," pagbibigay-diin ni DA-Cordillera director Cameron Odsey.
Sa datos ng ahensya, aabot sa 1,844,300 kilo ang kabuuang commodity inflow sa iba't ibang pasilidad sa La Trinidad sa Benguet nitong Oktubre 24.
Bukod pa aniya ito sa 150,000 kilo ngbeginning inventory para sa nasabi ring araw.

Sa pag-iikot ng DA, aabot sa334,300 kilo ang ibinagsak saBenguet AgriPinoy Trading Center, La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Center (576,000 kilo), at private trading centers (934,000 kilo).
Hindi pa aniya kabilang ang produksyon ng mga magsasaka na direktang binibili ng mga institutional buyer at ng ilang farmers' group na nagdadala ng produkto sa mga pamilihan.
"Prices of commodities differ per day but (our) monitoring report shows we have lower prices as compared to the previous weeks," aniya.
"Hindi tayo tinamaandirectly ng typhoon,pati ng lindol ngayongOctoberkaya maganda angharvestngfarmers," dagdag pa ng opisyal.
