Plano ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na gamitin ang mga integrated transport terminals, expressways at train stations bilang coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination sites.

Nilinaw ni DOTr Undersecretary Artemio Tuazon Jr., layunin nitong mapaigting pa ang COVID-19 vaccination drive ng pamahalaan at gawing mas accessible ito sa mamamayan.

“We’re actually exploring that possibility [of vaccination]. We’re mostly looking at the integrated terminals for the road transport. We’re also looking at the other stations for the rail transport,” ayon kay Tuazon, sa isang television interview.

“Even [Transportation] Secretary [Arthur] Tugade has already given instructions to the TRB (Toll Regulatory Board) to see if we can have vaccination sites along the expressways because there are some stations that have space for them,” patuloy pa niya.

Pinag-aaralan na aniya ng TRB kung saan isasagawa ang pagbabakuna, alinsunod sa direktiba ni Tugade.

Kaugnay nito, nakikipag-usap na rin aniya ang mga opisyal ng DOTr sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) para sa pagbabakuna ng mga driver at operators.
