Itinalaga si Retired Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandment George V. Ursabia Jr. bllang bagong undersecretary para sa maritime ng Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Ang pagtatalaga kay Ursabia ay inisyu ni Pangulong Duterte noong Nobyembre 4, halos dalawang buwan matapos ang pagreretiro sa kanyang puwesto bilang PCG chief noong Setyembre 8.

Sa kanyang pamumuno, nagawa ni Ursabia na palakasin ang presensya ng PCG sa West Philippine Sea (WPS) at sa pinakatimog na bahagi ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng Task Force "Pagsasanay."

Samantala, tiwala naman si DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade sa "wealth of knowledge at vast experience" ni Ursabia upang mapaunlad ang maritime industry ng bansa.
