Iminungkahi ni Marikina 2nd District Rep. Stella Quimbo ang pagpapatupad ng household lockdown kapag mayroon isa sa miyembro ng pamilya ang tinamaan ng coronavirus disease 2019.
Paliwanag ng kongresista sa Department of Health (DOH), magiging useless lamang ang 1 week extension ng enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), maliban lamang kung rebisahin nito ang mg hakbang nito upang makontrol ang pandemya.
“A more localized lockdown needs to be implemented at the smallest possible unit - the household. Ang kelangan sa ngayon ay ‘household lockdown.Households with at least one member who is COVID positive must be put on lockdown and all basic needs will be delivered to them with the assistance of the LGUs (local government units),” ayon pa sa kanya.
