Siguro dahil hindi artista si Gretchen kaya hindi siya masyadong na-bash sa pag-alis sa ABS-CBN para lumipat sa TV5 at ipagpatuloy ang kanyang caeer bilang host. Siya ang hahawak ng sports and entertainment segment ng “Frontline Pilipinas.”

Nag-post si Gretchen sa Instagram ng kanyang pamamaalam sabABS-CBN.
“Ihave been working with ABS-CBN for a good 7-8 years, but as a UAAPathelete Iconsider my tenure so much longer than that.
“have nothing but gratitude for the network that helped our sport grow leaps and bounds, in the same way that hey have helped me grow from being an athlete, to being a host, to being a news person.
“Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa lahat ng nagtiwala sa aking ABS-CBN journey. However, time has come for me to grow even further, and to continue on pursuing my personal journey.
“I’m excited for the opportunities ahead as Istart on my new chapter with Cignal & TV5.”
Ipinost din ni Gretchen ang press ID niya sa ABS-CBN na may caption: “Maraming salamat, Kapamilya. Iwill always be grateful.”
Ang kasunod na post ni Gretchen ay ang contract signing niya sa TV5 at Cignal at ang pagpapakilala sa kanya bilang newest talent ng Kapatid Network.
