Pinalagan ni Vice President Leni Robredo ang ulat ng Commission on Audit na mayroon itong intelligence funds noong 2019.

Ipinaliwanag ni Robredo, maaaring pinakamababang gumastos ng intelligence funds tanggapan nito noong 2019. Gayunman, kinontra nito ang taunang financial report ng COA.

Sa report ng COA, binanggit na lowest spender ang OVP kumpara sa iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan nang gumastos lamang ito ng P547,000.

Naireport din ng COA, gumastos ang Duterte administration ng P6.12 bilyon para sa intelligence sa nasabing taon. Nangunguna pinakamalaking gumastos ay ang Office of President, Congress, at ang Department of National Defense.

“I read it when I was in Bulacan. I immediately asked our staff, Why do we have intelligence fund? I don’t know we have intelligence fund. They responded to me that we did not have intelligence funds. The reported P547,000 was by-law allowances that we can’t decide on. These allowances are given to employees,” sabi pa ni Robredo.
