Patay ang isang opisyal ng Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) matapos mahawaan ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) kahapon.
Ang opisyal ay nakilalang si DoLE Undersecretary Joji Aragon, 58, na naiulat na na-cardiac arrest dahil sa COVID-19.
“It is believed that she contracted the virus following a procedure she underwent in the second week of December last year,” ang bahagi ng pahayag ng DoLE.
“The entire DoLE family, headed by Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III, grieves her untimely demise,” ayon pa sa DoLE.
