Suportado ng isang kongresista ang resumption ng provincial bus operations patungong Metro Manila upang makatulong sa pagbangon ng ekonomiya na pininsala ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Gayunman, nilinaw ni Deputy Majority Leader at Pampanga Rep. Juan Miguel Arroyo na ito ay dapat isagawa alinsunod sa protocols na itinakda ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) at ng Department of Health (DoH).

“There are emerging proposals for the resumptions of operations for provincial buses plying routes to and from Metro Manila and all other public transporation their routes here in NCR I am 100 percent fully supportive of this,” aniya.

Nitong nakaraang linggo, pinag-iisipan ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) chairman Martin Delgra, ang pagpayag sa resumption ng provincial bus sa may 81 probinsiya sa buong bansa.
