SA boyfriend niyang si Mikoy Morales namin nalamang hindi natuloy sa Taiwan ang GF niyang si Thea Tolentino. Nakausap namin si Mikoy sa taping ng The Gift at nang kumustahin ng press sa kanya si Thea, sinabing hindi tuloy sa Taiwan ang GF, pero walang sinabing dahilan.

Nalaman na lang namin na nagkaproblema sa kanyang passport si Thea at nakuwento niya ito sa Instagram (IG).

SO, I’ve been really vocal about my trip to Taiwan-Japan in the past few months. My supposed travel dates were from Oct 3-13. I was very excited because it’s supposed to be my FIRST trip alone. If you’ve seen my previous post, it didn’t push through due to some negligence and shizz. OK. I was at the airport around 2:30am and the check in counter opened at 3am. It was my turn and I gave them my flight details. After a few minutes, they told me I won’t be able to fly as my passport has only 5 months validity left. I tried to be calm and be positive that I’ll still be able to fly and that there’s a solution for this. The lady at the counter told me to wait and they tried to do something about it as well. They tries to ask their supervisor if there was an online visa available for Taiwan. But sadly there wasn’t. I was in a daze the whole day. I didn’t know that there was such rule. I want to the nearest DFA and received the same answers. I gave up and cancelled EVERYTHING.

So here I am informing you guys in case you don’t know as well (because a lot of my friends and people I know whom I told this story actually didn’t know rule existed too), to avoid these situations, future anxiety and stress (coz I am experiencing them right now), you must now know that in order to fly out of the country, your passport should be at least 6 months valid and, if you are planning to get a passport, they don’t accept NSO anymore. DFA only accepts PSA now.

And the DFA stopped giving passport extensions to people unless you are an OFQ and if you really need it in cases like emergencies.

I know that this kind of thing should be the passenger’s responsibility to know but, it shouldn’t only be the passenger’s but both the passenger’s and the travel agency’s responsibility. It’s their responsibility to inform their clients about this rule too to avoid complications and complains in the future.”

Dahil sa problema sa passport, hindi nga natuloy ang bakasyon ni Thea. Ang advantage nito, hindi matitigil ang pagti-taping ni Thea ng Afternoon Prime ng GMA-7 na Madrasta na kung saan, kontrabida na naman ang role niya. Ang pinahihirapan niya sa series ay sina Juancho Trivino at Arra San Agustin.

Sa husay umarte ni Thea bilang si Katharine at idagdag pa ang gumanaganap na kanyang kabit na si Gian, inis na inis sa kanya ang Kapuso viewers. Gusto nilang sabunutan si Katharine.
