MAY bago raw mamahaling teleserye gabi-gabi ang mga netizens, ito’y ang bagong inspirational drama series ni Asia’s MultiMedia Star na si Alden Richards, ang The Gift na napapanood sa primetime telebabad ng GMA Network.
Simula pa sa pilot week nila last September 16, sunud-sunod na ang papuri ng mga netizens na sumusubaybay sa kanila. Kasama ni Alden sa serye sina Elizabeth Oropesa as Lola Char at Jo Berry as Nanay Strawberry, ang mag-inang kumupkop kay Joseph na kilala bilang si Sep. Lumaki si Sep na barkada sina Amor (Mikee Quintos) at Bistek (Mikoy Morales) at kinagigiliwan silang panoorin. Iba raw kasi ang atake sa story at ang huhusay ng mga nagsisiganap. Biological mother ni Sep si Jean Garcia as Nadia, step brother niya si Jared (Martin del Rosario) na hindi nila alam na magkapatid sila.
