PINASINAYAAN ni Team Philippines Chef de Mission at PSC Chairman William Ramirez ang pagbubukas ng Women In Sports Leadership and Coaching Seminar kamakalawa sa Century Park Hotel, Manila.

Ayon kay Ramirez, kailangan ng Philippine sports ng mas marami pang kababaihan na coaches para sa bayan.

“Women have the special ability to read the heart and mind of an athlete. Coaching is not always perfect, but it is leadership. I want to honor our Filipino women who truly exemplifies the self-awareness, ingenuity, love and heroism in honing the best in our athletes,” ani Ramirez.

Kabuuang 150 kababaihan sa sports , coaches at mga kinatawan ng local government sa buong bansa kasama si PSC Commissioner Celia Kiram at Australia-based coach na si Patricia Puzon bilang resource speaker.

Si Puzon ay ang nagsulat ng librong ‘Becoming a Great Coach’ at director, founder at head coach ng MAC’s CrankIt Tennis Academy (MCTA) sa New South Wales, Australia.

“I share the call of Chairman Ramirez to develop our Filipino women coaches,” ayon kay Puzon.
