Noong Hunyo 8 ang huling post ni Kris sa kanyang IG account na litrato ng dalawa niyang anak na sina Joshua Aquino at Bimby Aquino Yap na pabalik ng Pilipinas habang naiwan naman siya sa Singapore. Nitong Linggo lang siya bumalik ng bansa.

“I’m sorry, I temporarily disabled with no explanation and some got offended thinking they got blocked.

“I read several books on IKIGAI (Google na lang please or else sobrang haba nito, but it reinforces my affinity for [Japan flag] and my quest for peace & healing). Samantala, ipinost ni Kris ang posters ng horror movies niya tulad ng Feng Shui, Sukob, Dalaw, Segunda Mano, Feng Shui 2, at isang pelikulang tinakpan ang titulo na pakiwari namin ay gagawin pa lang ng Queen of Horror Movies, base na rin sa kuwento niya. Ang caption ni Kris, “What does all my reading have to do with my horror movie posters? In (Singapore flag), I asked myself what do I want to go back to that will encourage and inspire me to regularly do the water physiotherapy my doctors were all recommending? And this script was emailed to me. “I won’t give specific details, mabait ang producers because I had asked to start in September when I feel my immunity can take on the physicality required, but for now I need to strengthen myself. Thank you for your patience with me. I’m learning to exercise that with myself, too.”

Nakakatuwang malaman na kahit hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ni Kris ilang buwan na ang nakararaan ay patuloy pa rin ang pagdagsa ng offers sa kanya. Base na rin sa kuwento ng business manager niyang si Erickson Raymundo ng Cornerstone Talent Management, bago tumulak ng Singapore ang Queen of Social Media, “daming offers kay Kris, hindi kami makasagot sa lahat kasi nga ‘di ba?”
