IPINAHAYAG ng National Basketball Association ang pagbabalik ng Jr. NBA Philippines 2019 sa pagtataguyod ng Alaska sa ika-12 sunod na taon.
Ngayong, edisyon, higit na pinalawak ng liga ang oportunidad para sa mga Pinoy cagers sa pagkakataong maging kinatawan ng Asia Pacific sa second Jr. NBA Global Championship, isang youth basketball tournament para sae dad 13- and 14-year-old boys and girls sa buong mundo at nakatakda sa Aug. 6-11 sa ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex ng Walt Disney World sa Orlando, Fla.
Nagsimula ang Jr. NBA Philippines 2019 nitong weekend sa train-the-trainers clinic para sa mga guro at coaches. Target ng programa, na mapataas ang kaalaman sa fundamental skills at core values sa laro sa grassroots level para sa mas epektibong youth clinics, coaching workshops, at training camps sa bansa.
Ang Jr. NBA Global Championship Asia Pacific regional competition ay lalarga sa Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand at Vietnam. Tampok ang limang lalaki at limang batang babae na mangunguna sa Jr. NBA Philippines National Training Camp ang pipilian para makasama sa unang Jr. NBA Global Championship Asia Pacific Qualifiers. Ang mangungunang 10 players sa liga ang bubuo ng kopona ng Asia Pacific para sa Jr. NBA Global Championship.

Gaganapin ang Regional selection camps sa Lucena (March 9-10), Baguio (March 23-24), Metro Manila (April 27-28), at ilang lungsod sa Visayas at Mindanao para mapili ang top 40 boys and 40 girls na uusad sa National Training Camp sa Metro Manila (May 17-19).
