Sa Instagram last December 6, nai-share ni Dina ang aksidenteng kinasangkutan niya kamakailan.

“Here’s a little story I’d like to share about this pic. It was last Thursday when this happened. I left really early like 3:30 for a 4:30 appt. with my dentist, Dra. Dior San Buenaventura; but I got stuck at the Ortigas Bridge for more than an hour because of the Christmas rush. It was 6:15 when I landed at Meralco Ave. And decided to walk to the dentist’s clinic at Cityland Tower beside Shangrila Mall.

“So I looked at Waze for directions to my destination and put the phone in my bag. There was this SUV that swerved from the opposite direction towards me, so I practically jumped to the side of the street and fell flat on my face on the gutter! I fell on my left knee, which tore my favorite pants and smashed my brand new iPhoneXs Max in the bag which my husband just gave me a few days ago.

“I was not able to see the car plates that almost hit me and was in a state of shock for a few seconds thinking I broke a bone! I slowly got up with the help of my P.A. who was also shocked from the incident. Still limping, I continued on, oblivious to the fact that I had a smashed phone in my bag and that my left knee was bleeding.

“I walked for another 15 minutes towards Dra. Dior’s clinic, persevering because I was almost at the ‘finish line’! I finally got to the clinic and she gamely took care of me and treated by wound while I was telling her about my accident. It was then that I found out about what happened to my phone.

“Nevertheless, I put that behind me and sat for about an hour on the denstist’s chair. While I was being treated, my mind was racing through so many thoughts. Apple won’t replace my phone because it was crushed from an accident, my favorite pants is ruined and I might have a scar on my knee... who was that bastard who almost killed me?

“Until I stopped and realized that I had so many more reasons to be thankful for. First, because I am still alive and second because I finally got my winning smile! Thank you Dra. Dior San Buenaventura but most of all, thank you Jesus!! #winning smile #saved @dior_dentalcare.”
