UMALIS kahapon patungong Tokyo, Japan ang mag-iinang Kris, Joshua at Bimby Aquino para iselebra ang 23rd birthday ng panganay ng aktres.

Post ni Kris sa kanyang IG account kahapon, “My panganay is turning 23 on Monday & I asked him to choose where we’d go—siyempre his choice was (Japan). This was our chance to take a quick trip to our happy place & celebrate #happybirthdaykuya. Let me also give all of you a VIRTUAL HUG? Ilang araw lang ang bakasyon ng mag-iina dahil hindi pa tapos ang pelikulang I Love You, Hater na sinu-shoot ni Kris kasama sina Joshua Garcia at Julia Barretto, na ang playdate ay sa Hulyo 11, mula sa Star Cinema, sa direksiyon ni Giselle Andres.

Kuwento nga ni Kris, sobrang metikulosa si Direk Giselle kaya dalawang sequences ang natatapos nila sa isang araw.

“There’s so many shots because Direk Giselle was mentored by Inang Olive Lamasan. And as a producer also, I realized the wisdom because ‘pag mag-edit ka, wala akong hahanapin, kumpleto.

“May creative manager and writers there (shooting), may isang scene na lahat sila pumalakpak, so proud ako. Ay magaling (ako)! But it’s Julia who will be the revelation. You do not expect her to be witty and funny, but she really is and she’s so beautiful, and Bimb is just so in love with her,” kuwento ni Kris.

Nagulat kami kaya balik-tanong namin kay Kris na hindi na crush, in love na?

“Yes in love na talaga, hindi na crush. Sabi niya, ‘Mama I just want to make her happy for the rest of her life’, nandoon siya talaga sa mode na ‘yun. Naghihintay lang siyang pumalpak si Joshua.

“Binibilang niya (Bimby), sabi niya, ‘Mama when I’m 21, Ate Julia will turn 31, it can happen.’ So, may ganu’n talaga siya (naiisip), kaya natatawa talaga ako at Joshua is the real deal and I’ve said this.

“We had a moment that complicated to shoot, a big scene and it involve a lot of walking. Make me memorize 10 pages of script, I’ll be perfect. Make me walk, I’m… mabait siya (Joshua) kasi maalalay siya talaga at tinutulungan niya ako, dahil alam niyang gumegewang-gewang ako. And I feel that as the Girl Boss in this (movie), the three of us has chemistry,” kuwento pa ni Kris.
